FAQ

Common questions.

Is there a cost to the program?

No. There is no fee to participate. Althra is founder-first and designed to remove barriers so you can focus on building.

Do you take equity?

Yes. We invest $12,500 for 1% equity in every team. We also reserve up to $50,000 in follow-on capital at a $1.5M valuation for select companies.

What level of traction do you expect?

We look for teams beyond the idea/prototype stage. Teams showing early signals of validation such as pilots, revenue, or clear user demand.

Do I need to move?

Yes, for the duration of the program. Althra is built around in-person momentum, and founders are expected to build from our Vancouver space.

Do I need a co-founder?

No. Solo founders are welcome. What matters most is your ability to execute and move fast.

What industries do you focus on?

We’re sector-agnostic. We care most about founder–problem fit, unique insight into the space, and early signs of traction.
