Althra started after we saw firsthand the gap in Vancouver’s early-stage ecosystem. We have world-class technical talent, ambitious operators, and breakout founders, yet almost no in-person, pre-seed infrastructure to support them at the moment conviction turns into action.
Too many builders were either forced to look south for capital or build in isolation without the right community around them.
We started Althra to change that to create a physical space where high-agency founders can work side-by-side, access early conviction capital, and build venture-scale companies from Western Canada without waiting for permission.
